The heart and soul of WILD GINGER is revealed in the Modern Dining experience of relaxed restaurant eating where the menu leans towards lush indulgence.
Classic Thai dishes find balance and harmony in flavour profiles of sweet, salty, sour and creamy. We took the aromatics, spicy edge, vibrance and flavours of Thai cuisine and set it amongst the sandstone architecture and urban hustle and bustle of Sydney’s first commercial hub of ‘The Rocks’. We then present a stylish take on casual, street-inspired Thai food with Modern Australia influences and an indulgent European twist to offer informal, yet elegant dining.
Base flavours from curries and pastes are housemade, boosted by native Australian ingredients, like Butterfly Peas, Native Finger Lime or Crystal Ice Plant Succulents to enhance premium local produce of Lobster, Sydney Rock Oysters, Crab, Wagyu Beef, Barramundi and Duck for hand-crafted dishes.
